Associate Prof. Muhammad Zafar-ul-Hye
I completed B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture-Soil Science in 1999, M.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture-Soil Science in 2001 and Ph.D in Soil Science with specialization in soil microbiology in 2008. Meanwhile, I joined as Lecturer in the BahauddinZakariya University Multan, Pakistan in 2006. Now a days, I am serving as Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Soil Science, BahauddinZakariya University. I completed Postdoctorate through Fulbright Scholar Award from USA in 2014-15 and second Postdoctorate from University of Sheffield, UK. I worked as Commonwealth Academic Fellow in UK. I published many research papers in impacted and other well-reputed journals and presented my research in many national and international conferences. I had been member of Nation Curriculum Revision Committee, Higher Education Commission,Pakistan in the subject of Soil Chemistry. I had been reviewer of some journals too. Currently, three students are completing their PhD and six students are conducting their MPhil research under my supervision, while eight students have completed their MPhil research and degrees under my supervision. My area of research is soil microbiology. I completed a research project “Assessing the response of maize (Zea mays L.) torhizobacterial inoculation in combination with biogas slurry” in 2017.
