Dr. Tamboli was a Senior Agriculturalist at the World Bank, Washington, D.C., where he worked on projects in 30 countries in Africa and Asia. He also has held positions as a Soil Fertility expert at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, and as a professor and Associate Dean at Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University at Jabalpur (M.P.), and was involved in designing and implementing All India Agronomic Trials throughout India.
